Balti
Balti refers to the popular dish found in British restaurants that is served in a a wok like dish usually accompained by a nan bread. It's origins are not certain, some say it was invented in Britain, specifically Birmingham, whilst others suggest it was brought over by imigrants from the Balistan region of Pakistan. The term Balti can refer to the pot it is cooked and served in, a Balti dish, or the food itself. In restaurants you can pretty much get any sort of balti involving meat or vegetables.
